We are truly delighted to welcome two new MSc students, Alexandra Florence Gilbert and Nathaniel Rugh, to the IEK-CHANGES project.
Alex and Nate join us at a particularly meaningful moment in our journey, as our work continues to grow alongside the Tsimane’ people and their deeply rooted, precious knowledge systems. Over the coming months, they will immerse themselves in ethnographic fieldwork with the Tsimane’, contributing to our shared commitment to better understand, honour, and safeguard biocultural diversity in the Bolivian Amazon.
Under the guidance of Mireia Alcántara-Rodríguez, Jorge C. Llopis, and Álvaro Fernández-Llamazares, they will contribute to advancing our project’s objectives while helping us continue building a thoughtful, inclusive, and forward-looking research space. We are excited for Alex and Nate to become part of this collective effort!
Please join us in giving Alex and Nate a very warm welcome. We are grateful to have them with us and look forward to the journey ahead together!
