After ten months of fieldwork Robin is leaving the field. It has been an incredible year, with a million ineffable experiences that will stay with him for life. Filled with a deep respect for the Tsimane’ and awed by the beauty of their lands, rivers and all the beings in it (except for those darn mosquitos and sandflies), he’s now rounding off his time in Boliva before heading back to Europe. A few more visits to the National Herbarium in La Paz, some cold mornings at 3800 meters processing the last field notes and finally, finally indulging in the luxury of some good coffee.
