We are thrilled to share that the Dirección General de Biodiversidad y Áreas Protegidas of the Ministry of the Environment and Water of the Plurinational State of Bolivia has officially authorized the IEK-CHANGES project to conduct research in the country. This permit allows us to carry out ethnobiological research and to collect plant specimens in the field, in close collaboration with our partners at the National Herbarium of Bolivia. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to work in Bolivia and are committed to conducting research that is scientifically rigorous, ethically grounded, and respectful of the country’s rich biocultural heritage. We look forward to the important work ahead in partnership with local institutions and communities.
